Class 2 Truck Licence

Class 2 Unit Standard covers heavy vehicles with a gross laden weight between 4,500kg to 18,000kg with no more than 2 axles
Pre - Requisites
A class 2 learner licence is required to do this Unit Standard.
Class 2 Truck Licence Includes:
Unit Standard 24089
(Fatigue Management, Work Time and Driver Logbook) – 5 Credits
Assessment of Unit Standard 17574
(Operate a rigid vehicle to meet the requirements for a full Class 2 drivers’ licence) – 7 Credits

Upon Successful Completion
The candidate will receive a certificate on completion of the Unit Standard, which they take to any NZTA Agency such as VTNZ or AA to have their licence upgraded by paying the appropriate fees.
