I am an approved Trainer, Instructor and Assessor who can provide training and assessment for MITO, and COMPETENZ. Learners are only assessed by MITO and COMPETENZ registered assessors. Any learner will be enrolled with the above respective ITO’s. The results will be reported by the respective ITO to NZQA and recorded on the NZ Record of Learning (NZROA).

I had been in transportation for the past 23 years operating in various transport companies doing Heavy Haulage. I have driven trucks of wide range of makes and models such as Manual, Road Ranger and Automatic trucks of American, Japanese and European makes.

I have driven in the major Auckland area and operated Line-Haul. I have experience with Rigid Trucks, Truck and Trailer, Semi-Trailer, A-Train and B-Train. Whilst driving the above vehicles, I have had lots of experience handling dangerous goods.

Alongside the above, I have lots of experience with Truck Loader Cranes and Lift Trucks (High Reach/Forklifts).

My philosophy has always been to build a personal relationship with my clients so they rely on and trust my advice and feedback. There is no better sequence of events for me than seeing my clients achieve the best outcome and move into their relaxed space of mindset and achieving their desired outcome.

The above skills and experiences asserts some skills and experience I must have had to communicate with people from all different backgrounds. The language was a vital part of my work to able to communicate and analyse with some individuals having a language as a weakness.

The cultural diversity in all the exposed workspaces meant that I enjoyed and had fun relating and sharing experiences with vibrant people. People relied on the information and advice that I openly shared. They trusted my opinion and being fluent in English and Hindi and the ability to understand Punjabi made me an asset to a wide variety of friends and contacts. I have been in New Zealand for the past 30 years which means my knowledge base with languages are well geared up.

As for my qualification, I have completed a Diploma in Marketing Management and a conjoint Diploma in Business Management from the NSW Tech. in Australia. Along with the above I also completed a Diploma in Computer Science from a college. Recently I completed and have been certified and licensed as a qualified Real Estate Agent from Real Estate Agents Authority in New Zealand.

I migrated to New Zealand and enrolled at The University of Auckland to qualify in B. Com, majoring in Marketing and Management. While I was engaged with that, I also was completing through Manukau Institute of Technology a Diploma in Retail Marketing. My enthusiasm to attain the knowledge in selling inspired me to upgrade to a qualification of Certificate in Sales Skills from MIT to gain that extra competitive edge over others.

With time up my sleeves I enrolled with the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and did some judicial papers to understand the judicial system in New Zealand.

In the past, I have worked as an Operations Leader for Hilton Haulage; Transport Operations Manager for Road Star; Specialist Graduate for NZ Post; a Business Development Manager for Independent News Limited; Retail Development Manager for Gordon and Gotch; Sales Manager for an International Marketing Company and also worked at the Taxation Department.
