Forklift Operators Certificate (OSH)
This course is designed for candidates to operate a Forklift (Counter-balance, Reach Truck, Man-up, Electric Pallet Truck) in a Warehouse. As we are the registered assessors, we report results to NZQA through Competenz for all unit standards completed through us.
Pre - Requisites
1) To complete Unit Standard 10852, Unit 10851 must be completed AND not older than 3
years.
2) To complete Unit Standard 18409, Unit Standard 10851 must be completed and not older
than 3 years.
Forklift Operators Certificate (OSH) Includes:
Unit Standard 10851
Allows you to operate a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) inside premises such as a Warehouse. – 7 Credits
Unit Standard 10852
allow you to operate industrial lift truck (forklift) fitted with... – 3 Credits
Unit Standard 18409 will allow you to use a Forklift mounted Safety Platform in the workplace. This weighs a 4 Credits towards the candidates NZQA record
Course Structure
The Forklift Competency is a 1 day assessment. The Structure of any of the above Unit Standards is that the Practical Training will be conducted at your workplace by using an organisational approved
and fully operational, registered Forklift with current certification and/or with all equipment/machinery supplied.

Upon Successful Completion
The candidate will receive a certificate on completion of Forklift Competency Certificate. The Forklift Competency Certificate will be valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
